Gym...da, da, da-da

So we are officially 5 months out from the wedding. Again, someone please tell me where the time is going? I am now starting to tell myself that I NEED to get to the gym. Tone things up, slim things down. I thought my wedding would be the one time in my life that I would truly be motivated to get into the gym, but I am finding that it is far from the case. Damon is training for a marathon (I wish I could put an emoticon rolling its' eyes), so I already know he will be more than fit for the wedding, but me on the other hand-someone please help!!

Oh-Damon was nice enough to order me a shake-weight-such the darling.

Rentals are going VIRAL

So if you didn't already know, I have been renting out my vintage wedding items, and as of late, I have been getting quite a few inquiries. At first, I would get an email once every few weeks from a bride, but now it seems like I get an email at least once a week, if not more! I know I already have a way stressful job, and my own wedding to plan, but why not add a hobby on the side. I think I (WE) can handle it. :) Over the last six months, my mom and I have loved every second of planning this wedding-ask Damon and my dad. It doesn't seem like work to us, to sit at an auction and throw a number in the air, or to wake up at the crack of dawn, and root through people's stuff. To some, it may sound ridiculous but for me-and my mom, it is quite relaxing and thrilling. There's nothing like the feeling of good old fashion deal!

So here I am, apologizing AGAIN, for leaving my loyal ray and day followers, but it's only because, like I said before, we are pursuing our little vintage rental company (working on another blog and a website). By we, I mean my mom and I. So please, soon welcome SWOON {vintage rentals} and I promise to be back soon.

(creating the website...do you like?)

Happy Valetine's Day

Damon and I spent our Valentine's day in and it was quite nice. A tasty little dinner, some red wine, and a Storage Wars marathon. Can't beat that!

Wedding Round-Up

I had a half day yesterday and stopped over to my parents' house to see what wedding goodies I had lurking in their garage. I thought I would share:

more suitcases

shutters that my mom recently scooped up at Olde Factory and Antiques in Hummelstown

pillars

desk that soon will be painted

old ladder

 barn wood for signs

another wooden crate

Headed to the Auction

My mom and I are headed off to an auction tomorrow with our eyes set on few goodies...
We've never been to this location-but I will give a review after the night's end.

With a different coat of paint-this little gem would be a great addition to the wedding decor.
Wish us luck that we are the highest bidder!
My checkbook and I.D. are ready.

Meeting Silas!

Over the weekend I got to meet the new addition to the Horn family. He is just as sweet as he looks!
What are your thoughts on getting him walking in 6 months so he can be the ring bearer?
I like that idea.

6 Months Out

We officially have less than six months to the wedding, and I am starting to get a bit stressed out. We made a 6 month plan of all the things that need to be done and when they need to be done by. AGAIN-I can't believe how many things go into planning a wedding. I think for most, it isn't quite as stressful because they aren't trying to do every little bit of the planning process, but for us, we have taken on everything from floral arrangements down to place settings. INSANE I KNOW! I am trying to delegate-but it isn't easy. My bridesmaids have started to get dates together for the bachelorette, bridal shower, and some other secrets! Everything is so exciting, but there needs to be more hours in a day, days in a week, and weeks in a month. If anyone has the secret to slow down time, let me know.
