Approaching 2 Months

I have obviously been stressing, but for whatever reason, last night at midnight, the stress of the wedding approaching really hit me. Damon assured me that getting up at midnight would not help the cause and a good nights sleep was the much wiser decision. I listened-but the only thing on my mind today was being "wedding productive". So---no Games of Thrones, The Killing, Mad Men or whatever my TV series fix is at the moment, I am going to get as much done today and the next few days as possible.

Wish me Luck!

Catalina Island

So while I should have been chipping away at my wedding to do list...I instead was jet setting to the west coast.
Three of my wonderful bridesmaids surprised me with a trip to California!
 How sweet is that?

This was the first time ever flying Virgin America and I must say it was pretty fun.

-ESPECIALLY with a few cocktails.

(don't know why instagram flipped it-but we thought it looked quite nice this way)

The majority of our stay was on Catalina Island.
We took a short ferry ride from Long Beach and stepped out on this gorgeous little island.

Of course this would be in our fridge.

I must say ~ I have some of the best friends!

Nobody ever said that registries were so difficult to do. ...ugh.

Wedding Bands

So we are a little less than three months out from the wedding and I finally feel like we are getting things accomplished. We decided on our bands and after explaining to our parents' they don't need to be a matching set, we bought them too. I love, love, love mine and I slide it on every chance I get-I am sure there is an old wives' tale that says you should never ever put your wedding ring on before you are married (bad luck or something), thank goodness I don't believe in that sort of thing.
